Welcome to the TavernAero Website

Tavernaero Airport Park is located in Plantation Key, Florida in The Florida Keys, mile marker 90. It is the only private airstrip between Homestead and Summerland Key. A shared interest in flying is the main reason most people choose to live in an aviation community, however you don’t have to be a pilot or aviation enthusiast to live here.

Tavernaero has a private marina with direct access to the Florida Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. If you enjoy fishing, diving, kayaking, boating, or simply tropical living in a distinctive community in the beautiful Florida Keys, Tavernaero Airport Park is the place for you!

This unique community currently has 33 homes, 14 of which have enclosed private hangars. All homes have direct access to the grass runway 08/26 and members enjoy use of the private marina with a boat ramp.

The runway is in operation from sunrise to sunset; guests are permitted, but must have a member present at landing and take off.

Tavernaero is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of up to 9 association members and holds regular meetings. The common areas include; the marina, runway, & roads, and are maintained by the association with annual dues being $750.
